OmniTRAX adds two rail-ready development sites in Ohio

OmniTRAX Inc. yesterday announced additional properties are available through its Rail-Ready Sites program on the company's Northern Ohio & Western Railway LLC (NOW) in Ohio.

OmniTRAX and the Sandusky County Economic Development Corp. are jointly marketing two sites on NOW, which interchanges with CSX and Norfolk Southern Railway. The short line operates 25 miles of track southeast of Toledo, extending from Woodville to Tiffin, Ohio.

The Rail-Ready Sites program connects companies looking to maximize supply-chain performance with rail-served properties.

"Rail is increasingly important to potential developers, so the joint promotion of rail-ready sites with OmniTRAX is very timely," said Beth Hannum, the economic development corp.'s executive director.
