Pinsly Railroad Co.-owned North Florida Industrial Railroad has entered into an agreement to be the rail operator at the North Florida Mega Industrial Park. The agreement is subject to regulatory approval.

The industrial park has been in development by Columbia County and lumber company and developer Weyerhaeuser for over 15 years, Pinsly officials said in a press release. Park officials recently announced AgroLiquid, a fertilizer manufacturer, is the first tenant.

North Florida Industrial will provide rail service to tenants in the park and partner with the county and Weyerhaeuser to promote industrial development.

Located in Jacksonville, Florida, the park has 2,622 acres of development-ready land and a 500-acre CSX Select Site, as well as proximity to several major highways and interstates.
