R. J. Corman Railroad Co. LLC has rebranded its transloading services as "Transload Connect."

Transload Connect will offer services focused on custom transloading for supply-chain customers and will specialize in moving materials and products between trucks and rail cars for long-distance hauls, said officials from R. J. Corman Railroad — an R.J. Corman Railroad Group subsidiary — in a press release.

Transload Connect will offer specialized machinery as well as access to rail lines and experts to help with every step of the transloading process.

The company manages 22 transload facilities in 11 states that offer access to R.J. Corman’s 17 short lines and connections to multiple Class Is. R. J. Corman also announced a strategic partnership with RSI Logistics to serve as a third-party operator at some transload sites and help boost marketing campaigns.

“We are excited for the possibilities that Transload Connect and the partnership with RSI Logistics might create for our customers’ future," said Russ Epting, R. J. Corman Railroad's assistant vice president of distribution services. "This rebranding and alliance enable us to provide tailor-made solutions to reach the maximum potential of our customers’ supply chains."
