Railinc has posted a “for sale” sign for its Web-based RailSync products. The company is seeking a buyer for the transportation system software package that’s marketed to regionals and short lines.
In May, Railinc announced it would no longer market or sell RailSync products and planned to conduct an orderly transition for customers.
RailSync includes a Command module designed to provide remote data entry and retrieval using handheld computer equipment; a Concur module that serves as an Interline Settlement System central interface for interline carriers; and a Control module featuring service bureau software to support car hire accounting processes.
Railinc will provide a RailSync product information packet to potential bidders.
