Earlier this year, the Reading, Blue Mountain & Northern Railroad (RBMN) marked its 25th anniversary.

Formed in 1983 by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Andrew Muller Jr. as a 13-mile short line owned by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, RBMN now operates 310 miles of track in eight northeastern Pennsylvania counties. The railroad commemorated its anniversary in September.

The largest privately owned railroad in Pennsylvania, RBMN interchanges with Canadian Pacific Railway, Norfolk Southern Railway, the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad, Luzerne and Susquehanna Railway, and Shamokin Valley Railroad.
