TNW Corp. recently forged a strategic alliance with Easy Recycling Services to expand rail offerings at the Texas North Western Railway (TXNW) in Sunray, Texas.

TXNW’s services now include scrapping, mobile crew derailment and locomotive dismantling through Easy Recycling; rail-car storage with more more than 11,000 spaces; tank-car repairs through TrinityRail; car cleaning and flaring; and transloading and warehousing.

Easy Recycling is a certified industrial scrap company that provides rail-car scrapping services. The company also maintains steel-mill relationships and offers metal-removal services.

Easy Recycling’s presence at TXNW will help the short line service a wide variety of cars that require end-of-life processing, TNW officials said in a press release. On-site car cleaning operations and extensive storage space coupled with Easy Recycling’s scrapping services will provide customers a single location for certain rail-car needs, they said.

“This alliance further elevates the range of one-stop-shop services we provide to our customers,” said TNW Director of Sales and Marketing Cheryl Hart. “TNW and Easy Recycling understand the importance of providing efficient and streamlined solutions for fleet management.”

TNW operates three short lines — TXNW, Texas Rock Crusher Railway and the Texas Gonzales and Northern Railway — and three logistics centers in Texas.
