Western Carolina Railway Service Corp. recently launched a new Web site at www.wcrscorp.com. The site provides a company overview and information on the railway's terminal switching, track and signal maintenance, and consulting services.
"The new site gives us a means to provide public access to information 24/7/365 and we look forward to growing it as a diverse reference that will be directly coupled with the growth of the corporation," said Western Carolina Railway President Steven Hawkins in a prepared statement.
Formed in 2003 to preserve, restore and revitalize rail service in North and South Carolina, Western Carolina Railway provides freight- and passenger-rail service in the two states.
