Western Group appoints Pajor to top business development post

The Western Group has named Ed Pajor vice president of business development. He will be responsible for identifying, securing and managing business development opportunities in rail and related activities.

Pajor has more than 30 years of experience in logistics and transportation, with a heavy emphasis on business development, Western Group officials said in a press release.

The company owns Western Railroad Builders Inc. and operates seven railroads: the Wyoming Colorado Railroad Inc. (Oregon Eastern branch); Clarkdale Arizona Central Railroad LLC; Verde Canyon Railroad LC; Southwestern Railroad Inc.; Texas & Eastern Railroad LC; Texas State Railroad; and Cimarron Valley Railroad LC.

“[He] will support all of our business affiliates in galvanizing transportation potential with existing and new customers,” said Western Group Senior VP Bruce Carswell.
