Philadelphia-based WebLinc L.L.C. recently installed its PATHVision™ program in the temporary Port Authority Trans-Hudson (PATH) World Trade Center site station, which opened Nov. 23.

The program is designed to provide complete, instantaneous train-tracking information for all trains, enabling PATH personnel and passengers to be aware of train status throughout the system, according to a prepared statement.

PATHVision was launched on the PATH system in September 2000. In addition to train schedule information, the program broadcasts news, traffic, weather, customer service announcements and advertisements. PATHVision now is installed at 13 PATH stations.
