The Railway Supply Institute (RSI) announced it sold out exhibit space about two months prior to RSI/CMA 2012, the organization’s annual conference and exhibition with the Coordinated Mechanical Associations (CMA). The event will be held Sept. 23-25 at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers.

RSI has lined up 108 exhibitors and anticipates attendance of about 1,500.

"We're looking forward to a packed show floor as well as great attendance at the Coordinated Mechanical Associations' technical sessions," said RSI President Tom Simpson in a prepared statement. “The industry momentum that began at Railway Interchange 2011 in Minneapolis last year continues to build, and our members are eager to demonstrate their newest products and services to customers and potential customers next month in Chicago.”

The event’s sponsors include Loram Maintenance of Way Inc., NS Thoroughbred Mechanical Services, New York Air Brake Corp., Sterling Rail and Graham-White Manufacturing Co.

To encourage pre-registration, RSI has extended the early registration rate for RSI/CMA 2012 to Aug. 17.
