Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners completed the previously announced transaction to acquire TRAC Intermodal and its subsidiaries from investment funds managed by an affiliate of Fortress Investment Group LLC. The acquisition will strengthen Stonepeak’s infrastructure and transportation market portfolio, and support TRAC’s future growth, Stonepeak officials said in a press release.

The Greenbrier Cos. developed a virtual sample rail car presentation to offer customers the ability to fully inspect rail cars remotely while facility access is restricted in response to COVID-19. The presentation includes narrated video that follows a sample rail-car production from start to finish, high-resolution photos that allow zooming in for detailed inspections, and a live-stream portion so customers can ask questions.

The National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association (NRC) named Nicole Womach director of finance and administration. Womach, who has 20 years of accounting service, will oversee NRC’s financial operations and serve as a liaison to the finance committee. Previously, she served as director of finance and administration for the United Motorcoach Association.
