Dachser Peru has delivered two locomotives to a major railroad customer in Peru. The units initially were received at the Port of Houston and then delivered to the customer facility in Lima. “Managing all the steps of this type of heavy-lift cargo project can be quite challenging; however, Dachser was able to manage the transport and delivery process without any issue to the full satisfaction of our customer,” said Eduardo Rey, managing director of Dachser Peru, in a press release.

Colliers International has completed the acquisition of a controlling interest in Maser Consulting P.A., an engineering design and consulting firm. The business will be rebranded as Colliers Engineering Services by first-quarter 2021. Maser’s senior leadership will remain significant shareholders of the business. Colliers is a global commercial real estate services and investment management firm.

The Systemwide E&M Project Office Department of Rapid Transit Systems of Taipei City Government awarded a consortium of Alstom and CTCI a $482 million contract to enter the Phase 2 extension of the Taipei Metro Line 7 in Taiwan into service. Alstom will be responsible for the design, supply, manufacturing, testing and commissioning of 16 four-car Metropolis trains, an Urbalis 400 communication-based train control signaling system, a supervisory control and data acquisition system, as well as platform screen doors.

A joint venture formed by Ardanuy Ingenieria, Eptisa and IPSA entered into a $4 million contract to carry out the design and construction work studies for the Doboj-Rasputnica Miljacka railway section in Bosnia. Work on the 106-mile section will take 24 months to complete.
