L.B. Foster Co. has promoted William Treacy to senior vice president (SVP) of infrastructure solutions and Gregory Lippard to SVP of rail technologies and services. The promotions follow the company's recent realignment of its business segment structure. As SVP of infrastructure solutions, Treacy will continue to lead the company's infrastructure businesses with a focus on creating scale around the most attractive markets and products. As SVP of rail technologies and services, Lippard will continue to lead the company's rail businesses with responsibility for sales, strategy and business development. He will also oversee development and engineering for existing and new rail technology solutions.  Lippard and Treacy will report to John Kasel, SVP and chief operating officer.

Railroad contracting, consulting and engineering firm FMW Solutions LLC has hired Kelly Lynch as director of special projects and Kevin Sweat as director of safety and compliance. FMW has experienced significant growth since its founding in 2016, and the company now serves clients in the Class I, regional, tourist and industrial trades, and features expertise in modern and vintage rail equipment, FMW officials said in a press release.

Digital security company Irdeto has been selected by Knorr-Bremse subisidiary Selectron Systems to provide the public key infrastructure (PKI) for the entire Knorr-Bremse Group, the manufacturer for braking and other systems for rail and commercial vehicles. Selectron integrates the Irdeto Keys & Credentials solution for managing the lifecycle of PKI certificates embedded in its products, blocking hackers and cybercriminals from accessing vital train systems.

TRAC Intermodal has converted its TRAC Tire Services division to exclusively serve its marine chassis fleet. The shift is consistent with TRAC's strategy to build the industry's most modern and reliable fleet of marine chassis, while maintaining a strong commitment to sustainability.

Hatch is celebrating its 65th anniversary with the release of a new campaign, "Positive change: Leadership for a Better World." The campaign includes a report, curated video content and a microsite that detail how, in the past 65 years, the firm has changed to meet clients' evolving needs. Hatch was founded in the 1950s as an engineering and technology consultancy firm primarily serving the metals and infrastructure sectors. The company's first projects included work on the subway tunnels beneath Toronto for the Toronto Transit Commission.
