The Greenbrier Cos. Inc. has promoted Bill Krueger to president of Greenbrier Manufacturing Operations. Previously, he was chief operating officer for manufacturing. In his new role, Krueger will be responsible for all new rail-car manufacturing operations in the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Poland, Romania and Turkey, as well as global design, engineering, sourcing, logistics and quality. He succeeds Alejandro Centurion, executive vice president and president of Greenbrier Manufacturing Operations, who retired Aug. 31. Centurion will continue to serve as chair of Greenbrier Europe's supervisory board.

Amsted Digital Solutions (ADS) has hired Valerie Williams to lead the company's professional services team, with an emphasis in fleet management. Williams has more than 16 years of experience in rail-car fleet management and has extensive knowledge of North American freight-rail transportation compliance, terminal compliance and rail-car regulations, according to an ADS press release.

IntelliTrans has achieved SOC 1 and 2 Type II Compliance, ensuring the company’s data is secure against the increased onslaught of cybersecurity attacks. This is critical as the threats to supply chains continue to increase every year, company officials said in a press release. IntelliTrans is a division of Roper Technologies Inc.
