Transdev appointed Lauren Skiver chief operating officer of U.S. operations. Effective March 10, Skiver will be responsible for the vehicle services, nonemergency medical transport and rail businesses, as well as the maintenance, safety and security teams. Skiver has spent 27 years in the transit sector. Most recently, she was CEO of SunLine Transit Agency in Thousand Oaks, California. She also serves as chair of leadership at the American Public Transportation Association.

Diesel Technology Forum (DTF) has received the Industry Partnership Award from Clean Fuels Alliance America, which recognizes DTF for its industry influence and support of the use of biodiesel and renewable diesel in legacy and new technology diesel engines and equipment. DTF is a not-for-profit educational organization of global leaders in advanced diesel engine, equipment and fuels technology.

Tealinc Ltd. announced its 2023 scholarship program, which will provide two scholarships of $1,000 each to students pursuing higher education through a technical program, trade school, college or university. The company will consider academic record, demonstration of commitment to education, work experience, volunteer activity and letters of recommendation. The application deadline is April 30 and scholarships will be awarded by May 31.

Duos Technologies Inc. is demonstrating its machine vision and artificial intelligence solutions through Railway-News, a global specialist digital publisher for the rail industry. Duos is expanding on opportunities beyond its historically North America-based business, company officials said in a press release.
