Bombardier plans to deliver 46 FLEXITY Outlook trams to STIB between June 2005 and February 2007. The vehicles will be built at Bombardier’s Bruges, Belgium, facility.

The contract also includes the overhaul of the vehicles’ bogies and propulsion equipment during the next 15 years. The bogies will be produced at Bombardier’s Siegen, Germany, facility; the propulsion, at its Mannheim, Germany, facility.

The contract is expected to be officially signed during the next three weeks.
