Two former CSX Technology executives recently launched business solutions service provider PPT Solutions Inc.
The company's services include business and information technology (IT) alignment, transition, integration and business continuity planning, IT stabilization and efficiencies, security vulnerability identification and value-added outsourcing.
"The PPT acronym comes from the core of what it is we do for our clients," said Sharon Jones, PPT Solutions managing partner and co-founder, in a prepared statement. "We employ innovations in people, processes and technology to produce realized cost savings for our customers."
Jones and co-founder Cindy Luman previously served CSX Technology as vice presidents. They have more than 20 years' combined experience in operations and applications environments.
PPT Solutions currently is serving one railroad client and soliciting other rail industry customers, says Jones.
