MTA New York City Transit recently awarded a five-year, $105 million contract to Unisys Corp. to provide desktop support services. The contract includes an option for a two-year, $38 million extension.

Unisys will provide desktop, information technology management and support services for the agency’s 12,000 computers and 350 servers, enabling NYCT to streamline information technology operations, according to a prepared statement.
