Yesterday, Optimization Alternatives Ltd. Inc. (OA) announced it launched Vantage OPS, a new division charged with marketing operational performance management software.
Vantage OPS software is designed to provide real-time access to performance indicators and metrics via event processing technology. The software can improve operational execution, enhance decision making and boost profitability, OA officials said in a prepared statement.
In April, the company appointed Robert Davis president to head the division and oversee the launch. He previously served as president and chief executive officer of Oculan Corp., and vice president and general manager of Tivoli Systems.
OA markets operations control and decision support systems to the railroad and intermodal industries, including Optimization Alternatives Strategic Intermodal Scheduler, and Gate Activity, Inspection and Tracking software.
