Rail Vision Ltd., a railway safety technology and data company based in Israel, announced Dec. 24 that it has joined MxV Rail's technology roadmap program to help improve safety and efficiency of rail operations in North America.
Rail Vision will contribute to the development of interoperable requirements, company officials said in a press release. A subsidiary of the Association of American Railroads, MxV Rail conducts railroad equipment testing at its facilities in Pueblo, Colorado, and provides training for railroads to ensure compliance with federal standards and to advance rail safety.
"This membership [with MxV Rail] allows us to collaborate with leading industry experts and expand our footprint in the U.S. rail market," said Rail Vision CEO Shahar Hania. "Being part of this consortium underscores our commitment to innovation and positions us as a key contributor to the advancement of technology in the North American rail environment."
