A. Stucki Co. announced the appointment of Mert Yilmaz as president of engineered products. Yilmaz has more than 20 years of management experience in manufacturing. In his new role, Yilmaz will lead Stucki's business units that design and manufacture engineered products to serve the leasing, manufacturing, railroad and shipper markets. "Mert’s extensive background in manufacturing and leading high-performing teams will accelerate our efforts to drive growth, productivity and service excellence across the Engineered Products division," said John O’Bryan, chief executive officer, in a press release. Prior to joining A. Stucki, Yilmaz was president of USA and Mexico operations for Impro Industries, a Hong Kong-based manufacturing company.

Penn Station's Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) main entrance on 33rd and 7th in New York City is now lit by an illuminated ceiling fixture above the main escalators created by Apogee Lighting of Deer Park, New York. As people enter the interior and descend by way of the escalators they will see a lighting achievement made possible by a team of lighting professionals including Apogee, general contractor Forte Construction, electrical contractor Dagnachew and lighting designer HLB. "The official opening of the entryway to Penn Station is a very proud moment for our company," said Apogee CEO Michael Boyd in a press release.
