Alstom named Bernard Delpit executive vice president and chief financial officer, and Helen Bradley chief human resources officer. Delpit has more than 30 years of experience, including serving in senior management for the automotive, aerospace and banking industries. Most recently, he was deputy CEO of Groupe Bruxelles Lambert, an investment holding firm. Bradley spent 20 years in human resources at Schneider Electric United Kingdom. She most recently was EVP of human resources and quality, health, safety and environment at Bureau Veritas, an inspection, certification and lab-testing company.

HDR Inc. was selected by the Omaha Streetcar Authority in Nebraska to deliver the final design for the city's 3.2-mile streetcar project that will connect downtown Omaha to the University of Nebraska Medical Center. HDR will provide services for track, transit systems, traffic, architectural and other civil design, procurement support, public engagement and operations. HDR previously led preliminary design that defined the streetcar's route, stop locations and vehicle specifications. The project includes 23 stops, two bridge replacements and a new vehicle maintenance facility. The design phase is expected to wrap up in mid-2024 with streetcar service opening in 2027.

Stacy & Witbeck Inc. and Myers & Sons Construction landed a construction contract from Caltrain for the Mountain View Transit Center grade separation and access project, which will improve safety and multimodal access to the transit center and downtown Mountain View, California. Work includes building a grade separation at the Castro Street crossing and creating a pathway for pedestrians and cyclists to pass under the tracks. Final design is expected to completed in mid-2024 with construction to conclude in late 2026. The project's first phase will cost $1.94 million.

Meltar Supply — a construction contractor and supplier for bridges, roadways and airports — announced it is expanding into the rail supply industry. Meltar is a corporate partner of BNSF Railway Co. and Union Pacific Railroad, and manages warehouses in Texas, Oregon and Colorado. Based in Houston, the company expects to open warehouses soon in Florida and Pennsylvania.

Keolis obtained a contract from Gelderland, Netherlands, to operate and maintain the Vallelijin rail line between Amersfoort and Ede-Wageningen. The 13-year contract will start in December and generate 150 million euros in revenue over its duration, according to a Keolis press release. During the contract's first two years, the network's seven electric trains will be renovated, redesigned and rebranded as RRReis trains with modern amenities. The 21-mile intercity rail line includes eight stations.
