Amsted Digital Solutions has been approved as a certified vendor for RailPulse, an industry-wide coalition working to accelerate the adoption of telematics across North America. Amsted Digital Solutions’ IQ Series gateway with Bogie IQ is a first-of-its-kind telematics solution that delivers comprehensive rail-car health and status data without the need for additional wireless sensors, according to an Amsted press release.

Alstom has signed an $84 million contract with Nevada's Clark County Department of Aviation to deliver new Innovia automated people mover (APM) vehicles and provide system upgrades to Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas. Alstom anticipates completion of the APM project by the end of 2027. The project will provide a better experience for passengers and employees in a time of increased demand at the airport, which set a record 57.6 million passengers traveling through the airport in 2023, Alstom officials said in a press release.

Hitachi Rail recently delivered its 300th train for the latest Class 807 for Avanti West Coast in the United Kingdom. The delivery represents a milestone in the ongoing transformation of the U.K. railways, which began with the introduction of the iconic Class 395 Javelin train in June 2009, according to a Hitachi Rail press release.

D/Gauge signed Transport for London (TfL) as latest customer of its software product, D/Gauge Rift. The software is a cloud-based tool that allows analysis of clearances against specific vehicle models. Using the latest clearance methodology for TfL’s vehicles, the software offers more certainty on the location and magnitude of tight clearances, allowing clearance managers and engineers to make more informed decisions, according to a D/Gauge press release.
