Arcadis, with its joint venture partner Mott MacDonald, announced the team will provide construction management support services for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority's (LA Metro) progressive design-build delivery team for the East San Fernando Valley Light-Rail Transit Project. The Arcadis-Mott MacDonald joint venture team will provide administration, inspection, estimating and construction management services support to LA Metro, which announced the groundbreaking for advanced utility work in early December 2022. The project is designed to improve mobility options along Van Nuys Boulevard in California's San Fernando Valley.

WSP USA has hired Chris Heald to join its transit and rail national business line. Heald serves as principal director for major transit and rail programs and projects, including contract administration and contract supervision. He also oversees improvements to operational performance and helps support business improvement and growth initiatives. Heald has more than 30 years of experience in rail and transit in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

Pacific West LLC announced a new partnership with Eagle Remediation and Demolition Services, a leading provider of turn-key environmental services in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. The partnership enables Pacific West to capitalize on expanding business in the western United States and increasing its environmental service capabilities, according to a company press release. Eagle provides remediation, environmental drilling, abatement, demolition and other services to the rail, industrial, commercial, real estate and other markets.
