Auxo Investment Partners, a private investment firm, has acquired Ferrovia Services, an Auburn, Alabama-based provider of railroad and transportation department vegetation management services with locations across the United States. The deal follows Auxo’s recent purchase of Genesis Rail Services LLC, a full-service railroad maintenance company, as Auxo aims to develop a diversified platform serving the railroad maintenance and mechanical services industry.

RR Mergers & Acquisitions advised RailPlan International on the sale of its maintenance services group to Milman Industries Inc. Based in Baltimore, RailPlan performs inspection, maintenance and repairs of passenger rail and transit vehicles for passenger rail-car manufacturers, transit systems, state departments of transportation, railroads and Amtrak. Based in Ontario, Milman, through its affiliated companies, provides industrial and environmental services and supplies.

Cad Railway Industries Ltd. has hired Paul Seguin to serve as senior director of sales, marketing and business development. Seguin has an extensive sales background in the railroad, engine and automobile industries, company officials said in a press release. Previously, he managed the Canadian market for a large global locomotive manufacturing company.
