CDL Electric has hired Jeff Dudley to oversee the company's on-track safety division. Dudley has more than two decades of experience in transportation, engineering, sales and safety, according to a CDL press release. His experience includes stints as a locomotive machinist, conductor and locomotive engineer at BNSF Railway Co.; and as a roadway-worker-in-charge and instructor at the National Academy of Railroad Sciences. He also was a founder of Traxx Railroad Safety. In his new role at CDL, Dudley will focus on the hiring processes, leadership and training.

Rail Vision Ltd., the railway safety data and technology company, announced its new software as a service (SaaS) platform called DASH, which stands for discover, analyze, secure and harness. The DASH platform integrates with Rail Vision’s AI-driven MainLine and ShuntingYard systems, to address critical rail industry challenges. By leveraging advanced detection capabilities, big data analysis and robust safety measures, the platform enables rail operators to enhance decision-making and streamline operations, according to a company press release.
