Cathcart Rail will handle the rail-car inspection and repair needs for the Central Oregon & Pacific Railroad (CORP) across its 362-mile footprint. Cathcart will provide these services across CORP’s major yards in Roseburg, Cottage Grove and Medford, Oregon, according to a Cathcart news release.

Wiremind was chosen by Europe's high-speed rail system Eurostar to implement the revenue management solution, CAYZN. The two companies recently signed a five-year partnership contract, according to a Wiremind news release. The implementation of CAYZN at Eurostar is scheduled to begin soon, with the official go-live planned for first-quarter 2025.

Movares has signed a contract with the HIMA Group to implement an electronic interlocking system in the Rotterdam area in the Netherlands. The HIMA IXL technology is to be used in a total of 10 relay houses in Rotterdam and is also expected to increase the safety of the surrounding railway stations. "This project is not just about upgrading the technology, but also about improving the safety and reliability of train operations in one of the busiest railway stations in Europe," said Movares CEO Robert Claasen. The project includes the PLC hardware, cabinets and engineering to replace the existing electronic interlocking by a programmable interlocking system, according to a Movares news release.

Rail Vision Ltd. has received an add-on order from a U.S.-based rail and leasing services company. In April, Rail Vision received an initial purchase order for its ShuntingYard product amounting to approximately $1 million as part of the contract, with the additional $4 million in orders subject to customer approval, according to a Rail Vision news release.
