DavRail Inc., a provider of maintenance-of-way equipment and locomotive solutions, announced an agreement  with Affective Rail & Plant that grants DavRail distribution rights to Affective Rail’s rail-handling and logistics equipment in North and South America. DavRail will use its national sales program to tactically promote and support Affective Rail's MOW solutions. These new products will join DavRail’s existing leasing and sales portfolio, DavRail officials said in a press release.

Michael Baker International has been selected to provide construction management and inspection services for the reconstruction of the Francis Scott Key Bridge , which in March 2024 was struck by a cargo ship at the Port of Baltimore and collapsed. In a joint venture with STV, Michael Baker will support the project through all phases of replacing the 2.4-mile-long bridge, which carries Interstate Highway 695 over the Patapsco River in Maryland. The joint venture will provide maintenance of way, constructability reviews, inspections, scheduling and materials testing.
