ENSCO Rail has delivered its second heavy-duty hi-rail truck to Canadian Pacific Kansas City. It's anticipated the state-of-the-art vehicle will enhance CPKC’s ability to monitor and improve track conditions and safety standards, ENSCO officials said in a press release. The truck features an advanced track geometry measurement system (TGMS) that includes a sliding weight design to enable heavy loaded track testing with 10,000-pound vertical wheel load. This lowers the overall weight and size of the hi-rail, making it easier to survey around the CPKC network, ENSCO officials said in a press release. The TGMS also collects track geometry data close to the wheel, enabling CPKC to gather track condition information.

A. Stucki Co. has appointed Stacy Waltz chief human resources officer. Waltz will be responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy, including workforce optimization, diversity and inclusion, succession planning, and labor practices and policies. Most recently, Waltz was global vice president of human resources for aerospace, defense and marine at TE Connectivity. Prior to that she was global talent effectiveness director for Rockwell Automation in Milwaukee, and served as a human resource business partner for Kohl's Corp. in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

STV has announced two new contracts with the TriMet transit agency in Portland, Oregon. STV was selected to develop an operations plan for TriMet's new Security Operations Center. STV will create a concept of operations, a framework for how the security center functions within TriMet’s entire system. Separately, STV will help expand TriMet’s cloud-based transit signal priority system to improve traffic flow and transit on-time performance. An STV press release did not disclose the financial value of the two contracts.
