David Scorey, chief executive officer of Keolis Commuter Services — which operates and maintains the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority’s commuter-rail system in Greater Boston — has been appointed interim CEO of Keolis North America.

He succeeds Clement Michel, who has been named senior executive vice president of human resources and transformation of Keolis Group.

The Keolis North America management team will support Scorey during the transition period ahead of Michel’s successor, Keolis officials said in a press release.

In his new role, Michel succeeds Bruno Danet, who is leaving the Keolis Group.

Also, Keolis announced that Annelise Avril has been named senior EVP of marketing, innovation and new mobilities effective June 7. Previously, she was group SVP in charge of innovation, marketing, digital transformation and research at SUEZ Consulting.
