The supervisory board of Groupe Keolis S.A.S. has dismissed Patrick Jeantet as chairman of the executive board because of “significant strategic differences,” Keolis officials said in a press release. Jeantet took office Feb. 1. Kathleen Wantz-O’Rourke, group executive director of finance and legal, will serve as the executive board's interim chairperson. The supervisory board's role is to oversee the executive board, which is composed of a single member, namely Jeantet, and adjudicate certain strategic decisions.

Teleste Corp. will deliver onboard passenger information and closed-circuit television systems for 20 of Stadler Rail's FLIRT trains for Norwegian State Railways by 2021. The deployment will include video security cameras and video recorders, intercommunication and public address systems, and information displays.

Thales signed three contracts to provide its SelTrac™ communications-based train control signaling system to the Seoul Metropolitan Subway’s Incheon Metro Line 2 in South Korea; the Sabiha Gokcen International Airport's M10 metro line in Turkey; and the Nangchang Metro’s Line 4 in China. Meanwhile, Hangzhou Metro's Line 16 entered into revenue service in China. The line uses Thales' SEC Transport signal system technologies.

Genetec Inc. launched a transit portfolio of solutions to help transit organizations unify their wayside and onboard security with operations from a single interface. The portfolio includes video management, fleet monitoring, sensor management and communication management.

The German Federal Ministry of Economics presented Alstom with its "Innovation Prize for Regulatory Sandboxes" award for the company's planned test project to implement automatic train operation in daily passenger operation of regional trains. The project will begin in 2021 together with the Regional Association of the Greater Area of Braunschweig, the German Aerospace Center and the Technical University of Berlin.

Cyient appointed Meenu Bagla vice president and chief marketing officer. Bagla will be responsible for strengthening the brand to accelerate business growth in new and existing markets. Previously, Bagla served as the global head of marketing at Tech Mahindra. Cyient is an engineering and technology provider with clients in the rail industry.
