Plasser American Corp. today will mark the opening of its new 82,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Chesapeake, Virginia. The plant features "state-of-the-art technology" that will enable the company to more efficiently manufacture machines for the rail industry, according to a Plasser American press release. Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin is among the state dignitaries and company officials expected to attend today's ribbon-cutting ceremony.
