Renfe Group, Spain’s national state-owned railroad, yesterday presented its new sustainability master plan at the International Union of Railways’ Sustainability Action Week, which took place in Paris, company officials said in a press release. The plan focuses on  environmental, social and governance goals. Environmental includes achieving carbon neutrality, improving energy management and promoting sustainable mobility and responsible management. In the social category, Renfe seeks to have an inclusive, safe and healthy work environment that promotes diversity and professional development. Under governance, Renfe plans to ensure it uses ethical and responsible management, strengthens its regulatory compliance, digital protection and inclusive decision-making.

Skanska has promoted six members of its USA Civil Northeast operations team. John Crecco, Vincent Evola and Brian Reilly have been promoted to the role of senior vice president of operations. Robert Coutts and Steve DelGrosso will now serve as VP of operations, and Alexander Borovets has been promoted to chief engineer for the engineering department. “Their commitment to operational excellence, exemplary work ethic and dedication to delivering projects safely and efficiently make them incredibly well-qualified for their new roles,” said Michael Viggiano, executive vice president of Skanska USA Civil, in a press release.
