STG Logistics has expanded its intermodal service partnership with CSX to include drayage services that will support the door-to-door CSX RailPlus product. "Over the last 30 years CSX's rail network has given us the ability to scale our intermodal business while providing reliable service to our east coast client base," said Tyler Holtgreven, STG's senior vice president of intermodal, in a press release. "We are incredibly excited about the opportunities ahead, for both of our organizations and our customers."

Voith Turbo has completed its nearly $6 million workshop expansion in York County, Pennsylvania. The project added 10,000 square-feet to the workshop facility. A ribbon cutting for the expansion took place at the workshop, which is also the location of Voith Turbo’s North American headquarters, and included local and state officials, as well as employees, according to a news release. Voith Turbo's York location has been in operation since 1990, and this is its fourth expansion at the site since then. The location has more than 140 employees assigned to it, and the work just completed allows for a 15% increase in workforce.

STV has signed a contract with the Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District of Oregon (TriMet) to spearhead the replacement of 12 traction power substations along the district’s Metropolitan Area Express (MAX) Blue Line. STV will oversee the substations’ structural, civil and systems design as well as project controls for traction power design and civil site improvements. The firm will also provide overall project management, leading a team of eight consultants, according to a news release.

Danobat, a designer and developer of manufacturing solutions, has acquired Delta Wheel Truing Solutions in Escanaba, Michigan. Based in Spain, Danomat has had a presence in the United States since 1982 and has a technical center in Chicago that is focused on the development of grinding and hard turning solutions.
