STV Inc. has been selected by the Maryland Transportation Authority to provide construction management and inspection services for the reconstruction of the Francis Scott Key Bridge, which collapsed into the Patapsco River after it was struck by a cargo ship at the Port of Baltimore in March 2024. STV, in a joint venture with Michael Baker International, will support the estimated $1.7 billion to $1.9 billion progressive design-build project through all construction phases, including during design development, to meet the scheduled opening in 2028, according to an STV press release. The release did not reveal the financial value of the firm's contract.

Tideworks Technology Inc., a provider of terminal operating system (TOS) solutions, is marking the 15th anniversary of Intermodal Pro™, the company’s TOS for intermodal rail terminals. Since it was implemented for CSX in Ohio, Intermodal Pro has been installed at more than 85 intermodal rail terminals. Developed in collaboration with rail operators to meet the industry's evolving needs Intermodal Pro provides real-time intelligence to enhance throughput, streamline operations and optimize asset utilization, driving greater efficiency and capacity for terminals, Tideworks officials said in a press release.
