West Side Tractor, a heavy equipment provider based in Lisle, Illinois, announced a new partnership with Shuttlewagon Mobile Railcar Movers, a division of Wabtec Corp. A manufacturer of rail-car handling solutions, Shuttlewagon has appointed West Side Tractor as the exclusive authorized dealer serving Illinois, Indiana and southern Michigan. West Side Tractor hired Nick Stipanovich to serve as business development manager for the Shuttlewagon line, responsible for sales, rental and coordination of the product support strategy. West Side Tractor will provide 24/7 service in the field on Shuttlewagon products, the companies said in a joint press release.

Amtrak has selected Icomera to install, maintain and monitor onboard mobile internet service for 88 new Siemens Mobility "Venture" single-level passenger cars, which are jointly owned by Midwest states and will be operated and contracted by Amtrak. The agreement marks an expansion of Icomera’s relationship with Amtrak, which began in 2015, as one of the first North American customers to host the mobile connectivity platform on board a moving vehicle, Icomera officials said in a press release.
