Thales has obtained a $13.7 million contract from the Turkish State Railways (TCDD) to renovate the signaling and telecommunications system of Eskisehir station. Thales will deploy its ETCS Level 1 signaling technology, which already equips part of the Ankara-Istanbul Line.

Alstom will supply six new Coradia Lint regional trains to Germany's Lower Saxony State public transit authority, LNVG. The order follows an initial contract signed in 2011. The total value is $34.35 million. Alstom also will adapt 13 Coradia Lint regional trains already in service so they can be operated as multiple units with the new trains. All new and modernized trains are slated to be operational in 2016.

Lincoln Property Co. has been selected as the new property manager for the Anaheim, Calif., Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC), a transportation hub that is being built between the Honda Center and Angel Stadium in Anaheim. Upon completion later this year, the ARTIC will serve as a major transportation gateway that will incorporate a mixed-use center on an existing 16-acre site.

Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LTG) announced it completed the sale of Luminator Technology Group to Audax Group. Robert W. Baird & Co. Inc. served as financial adviser and Weil, Gotshal and Manges L.L.P. served as legal adviser to LTG.

STV has promoted Christopher Kaiser to vice president. A project director and senior engineer in the firm’s Transportation and Infrastructure Division, Kaiser leads the rail engineering group in STV’s New York office. Kaiser joined the firm in 1984.

Railhead Corp. has hired Fred Cozzi to focus on continuing strong market growth of the company's LDVR, tools and LED lighting solutions. Cozzi has more than 15 years of rail industry experience. Previously, he was vice president of sales and marketing for Wi-Tronix L.L.C., and served stints at Portec Rail Products and Trinity Rail.

Nomad Digital recently won the Global Expansion award at the 2014 Northern Tech Awards held in Manchester, England. The event was attended by more than 3,000 technology experts, investors and entrepreneurs to recognize the Top 50 Growing Technology Companies in the North of England.
