Wabtec Corp. has acquired L&M Radiator Inc., a manufacturer of heavy-duty equipment radiators and heat exchangers, in a $230 million transaction. L&M’s range of products will enable Wabtec customers to increase maintenance efficiency and reduce cost, improve safety and upgrade fleet availability, Wabtec officials said in a press release. L&M will join the company as part of Wabtec’s components group.

PCM RailOne Canada Corp. and Rainbow Concrete Industries Ltd. announced a new joint venture — RailOne Rainbow Canada Corp. — that aims to deliver concrete ties and ballast-less track systems for urban transit and high-speed rail lines in Canada. RailOne has manufactured concrete ties for more than 60 years and also offers customized engineering and plant construction solutions. Rainbow has provided ready-mix concrete and precast concrete products for more than 70 years.
