RailComm will install its DOC® system at a Class I intermodal facility in Long Beach, Calif. The new system will replace an existing hardwired system, and will enable facility personnel to apply and remove derails to provide track protection, RailComm officials said in a press release. Yard personnel will be able to control the system using the main DOC workstation in the yard control office, or by using a remote DOC workstation to be installed in a secondary location.

Miller Electric Manufacturing Co. earned a 2015 North American Effie Finalist Award for its WE BUILD campaign, which focused on welders' everyday work and achievements. Miller executed the campaign through print and digital advertising, a microsite on its main website, social media channels and other forms of media.

MagneGas Corp. will supply fuel to a U.S. transportation company's railway division for repairs and construction. Initially, MagneGas will supply fuel for the company's California railway division, with plans to do the same at other locations in the country over the next several months, MagneGas officials said in a press release. TriCo Welding Supplies Inc., a MagneGas distributor, will be sourcing the fuel through MagneGas partner Power Placer.
