Rail News: Railroading Supplier Spotlight
RailComm Inc. recently completed a General Code of Operating Rules (GCOR) training program for more than 200 Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District (NICTD) and Chicago SouthShore and South Bend Railroad employees.
During the past six months, RailComm has instructed workers on the GCOR Revision 5 rule set and conducted a recertification course.
As part of the revitalization plan for its 75-mile commuter-rail system, NICTD decided to switch to the more widely adopted GCOR rule set. The training was completed in time for NICTD to begin using RailComm’s Operations Controller system, comprising the company’s DOC®:CTC, DOC®:SCADA and DOC®: DTC.
