Railway Interchange 2013 organizers yesterday announced that registration and hotel reservations now are open for the combined exhibition and technical conference, which will be held Sept. 29-Oct. 2 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.

The exhibition will showcase the latest technology, services and research by members of the Railway Supply Institute, Railway Engineering-Maintenance Suppliers Association and Railway Systems Suppliers Inc. (RSSI). The event also will feature technical presentations and discussions by members of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA) and Coordinated Mechanical Associations.

"Railway Interchange 2013 will capitalize on the success of the 2011 event in Minneapolis, which attracted more than 8,000 attendees and 600 exhibitors from around the world," said AREMA Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer Charles Emely in a prepared statement.

Added RSSI Executive Director Secretary/Treasurer Michael P. Drudy: "This year's exhibition is on track to be bigger and better than 2011."
