The Land Transport Authority (LTA) of Singapore recently licensed SYSTRA Consulting Inc.’s RAILSIM® Simulation Software Suite for public transportation system planning and design.

LTA’s license covers the entire RAILSIM suite of applications, including the:

• RAILSIM editor for infrastructure and operations database development;
• Train Performance Calculator for single-train operations, and rolling stock simulation and analysis;
• Network Simulator for network simulation and alternatives analysis, including communications-based train control systems;
•Load Flow Analyzer for DC and AC electrical network analyses; and
• Headway Calculation, Safe Braking Distance and Signal Design Add-Ons for corresponding specialized system analyses.

Systra USA and parent company Systra S.A. provided the software, automated software installation, documentation and on-site training, as well as software maintenance and user support.
