Delta Railroad Services, a North American construction and equipment rental company, has launched a new website. The site now features a more intuitive navigation and mobile-friendly design, and provides clients and industry partners with information about the company’s history, values, team members, leadership and service descriptions, according to a company press release.

RINA, a global engineering consultant, will provide system integration services for Hassan Allam Construction's Hafeet Rail project, a joint venture between the United Arab Emirates and Oman. The Hafeet Rail project will link UAE's capital city Abu Dhabi to Sohar in Oman. The project will support passenger- and freight-rail services. Freight traffic will include shipments from the mining and petrochemicals sectors. RINA will ensure the integration of the railway's signaling and telecommunications systems and operational technologies. RINA also will oversee implementation of the project’s signaling system, which is based on the European Train Control System Level 2.

Nevomo, a European magnetic rail technology company, in collaboration with Hansebahn Bremen, a joint venture of Captrain Deutschland and steel company ArcelorMittal Bremen, is launching a pilot project for the first fully automated freight transport system at the Bremen factory in Germany. The system is anticipated to be fully automated within three years, Nevomo officials said. The project calls for Nevomo’s MagRail Booster technology, which integrates linear motor technology into existing rail infrastructure and removes the need for locomotives.
