Intramotev, a builder of autonomous zero-emissions rail solutions, announced a partnership with Carmeuse Americas to deploy the TugVolt technology at a mining site in Cedarville, Michigan. With support from the Michigan Mobility Funding Program, Intramotev will deploy three TugVolt battery electric rail cars at the siteto support a new railway that will carry one six-car train of ore per hour. The deployment is estimated to eliminate up to 55,000 gallons of diesel consumption and 617 tons of vehicle-level CO2 emissions, according to an Intramotive news release.

ALCEA, formerly known as ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions-Critical Infrastructure, announced an agreement with Houston-based LRG Inc., an independent regional manufacturer’s representative company serving the electronic security and access control industry. "LRG Inc. will be a key partner to bring our vision of ensuring that life goes on and customers’ operations are kept uninterrupted,” said Jerry Burhans, managing director of ALCEA, in a news release.
