Trainyard Tech L.L.C. recently obtained a Norfolk Southern Railway contract to provide a process control system for Brosnan Yard in Macon, Ga.

Trainyard Tech will install its CLASSMASTER™ process control system, which uses commercial off-the-shelf software running on the Microsoft® Windows® XP platform. The system includes auto calibration, loggers, graphic playback, real-time hump list display, electronic track blocking, automatic report generation, and remote diagnostics and maintenance. Trainyard Tech also offers a full function wireless personal computer tablet option for remote yard control.

The company recently installed CLASSMASTER at NS’ Buckeye Yard in Columbus, Ohio, and Lambert’s Point in Norfolk, Va. In September, Trainyard Tech will install the system at the Class I’s Elkhart, Ind., yard.

Founded in 2003, Trainyard Tech is a technology start-up company offering software development and testing, and hardware development and manufacturing services.
