TydenBrammall’s Angola, Ind., test laboratory recently received the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation’s (A2LA) certificate of accreditation for technical mechanical testing competence.

The accreditation enables the lab to perform tests on cargo seals according to International Standards Organization and American Society for Testing Materials standards. Tests include bending, shear, and room- and low-temperature impacts and pull at temperatures between -10 F and 180 F.

The lab met certain documentation criteria, including maintenance records for all lab equipment. The facility can now operate as an A2LA-accredited lab.

TydenBrammall supplies bolt, cable, metal strap and plastic-type cargo seals to the rail, truck, container, food and chemical processing industries.
