The USA Pavilion at last month's Business on Rails (NT Expo) trade show in Sáo Paulo, Brazil, was such a success, more exhibit space has been reserved for next year's expo, organizers said in a press release issued yesterday. The pavilion, which housed 10 exhibitors, was co-hosted by the Railway Engineering-Maintenance Suppliers Association (REMSA) and Railway Supply Institute (RSI). Held Nov. 5-7, NT Expo attracted 8,300 attendees and 210 exhibitors.Services provided to USA Pavilion exhibitors included booth design, food and beverage, internet connections, on-site translators, a report on the Brazilian rail market, pre-show assistance with translations and visas, and marketing materials distributed in Brazil."Our exhibitors said they were happy with the turnkey service our USA Pavilion provided, which let them focus on selling their products, not managing the exhibit space. With the knowledge gained this year, we will focus on enhancing the overall experience for exhibitors in the future," said RSI President Tom Simpson.NT Expo 2014 will be held Nov. 11-13, 2014, in Sáo Paulo. Exhibit space sales for the USA Pavilion will begin in early 2014, REMSA and RSI officials said.
