Vapor Rail selects SolidWorks CAD software
advertisement
Passenger-rail door system provider Vapor Rail recently selected SolidWorks® computer-aided design (CAD) software. Vapor Rail engineers will use SolidWorks for all product designs because of the software’s “superior ease of use and performance with large assemblies,” according to a SolidWorks statement.
Vapor Rail engineers also use other SolidWorks software, including COSMOSWorks® design analysis software to predict part deflection, and meet shock and vibration standards; SolidWorks' eDrawings® email-based collaboration software, which enables Vapor Rail to share designs with customers; and PDMWorks® product data management software to securely store new designs alongside “legacy” data created in AutoCAD® software.
