Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) recently awarded a contract to P2D — a joint venture comprising Parsons Brinckerhoff, Parsons Transportation Group and Delon Hampton & Associates — to provide on-call general architectural and engineering services for the agency’s capital program.
WMATA could assign the firms task orders to design new facilities, or renovate, improve or expand existing facilities. The companies also might help plan transit-oriented development projects at or near stations.
