Wabtec Corp. subsidiaries WABCO Locomotive Products and Wabtec Rubber Products recently achieved ISO 9001:2000 registration.
Issued by National Quality Assurance U.S.A., the registration recognizes suppliers that improve processes to enhance product quality.
"Through this endeavor, we have significantly improved our existing procedures, especially our audit process, and how we measure customer satisfaction," said WABCO Vice President and General Manager Robert Bourg in a prepared statement.
WABCO produces pneumatic brake components and related devices, such as air compressors, air dryers and aftercoolers; Wabtec Rubber Products manufactures custom-molded rubber products for railroads and industrial customers.
